ROBERT A. HAGER

Robert Hager is Managing Partner of Patton Boggs’ office in Doha, Qatar. Mr. Hager represents clients in a wide range of infrastructure and technology matters, including telecommunication ventures, transportation infrastructure development, real estate development, privatizations, and public-private partnerships in the Middle East, West Africa, Europe, the Pacific Islands, and the United States. Mr. Hager has served as counsel to governments, private companies, developers, lenders, borrowers, suppliers, engineering, and construction firms in projects and transactions finance supported by the World Bank, International Finance Corporation, the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and other international lending institutions. Robert has Bachelors of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and pursued Law studies at Georgetown University Law Center.
RICK HUNT

Rick joined the International Business Development Team in June of 2013 as the IBD Middle East Associate Director in our Doha Qatar office. Rick is a fifteen year Boeing veteran and has previously held numerous assignments in Boeing Defense, Space and Security business units as a senior analyst and project lead working both US domestic and international markets. He was then later promoted to Senior Manager, Business Development in divisions of Network & Space Systems and more recently, Boeing Military Aircraft. Prior to Boeing, Rick worked in the Washington DC and Northern Virginia areas supporting various US Services on domestic and international programs. Rick is a retired US Marine Reserve Colonel with 28 years of commissioned service. Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.

JAY TURK

Jay Turk is the CEO of Libra Trading Company Doha, Qatar since 2008. LTC specializes in Joint Venture, Recruiting, Consulting, Services (outsourcing/supply chain), plus Trading and Contracting. Mr. Turk has over 20+ years of experience with General Electric, as Project Manager and Qatar Country Manager, Jay led and managed several large international projects in Qatar (1997-2000) at Ras Gas (LNG +Power Generation Projects ) such RG Train 1-5, in South Korea, (2000) Posco Plant 400 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. (2001) Site Project Tech. Manager Baglan Bay in the UK, first & the largest steam cooled gas turbine, (2002) West Virginia USA 250MW Power Plant. (2003-2007). Qatar Abu Fontas Engineering Manager for self performing 600 MW, Power Plant Project. Mr. Turk holds a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with Supplemental Courses of Electrical Power/Switchgear, Time Management, Environment Health and Safety from Turbine University. He can speak three languages English, French, and Arabic.
RICHARD MUNDY

Richard Mundy has served as Chief Operations Officer for Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar since March 2010. He is responsible for the operational functions of the campus, with direct oversight of Human Resources, Finance, Business Operations, Facilities and Security. Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon, Richard was the Director of Operations at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates for eight years. Richard also has corporate experience with the global government solutions division of SCT Incorporated, which provides BANNER software and services. He earned his MBA (concentration in International Business) from the University of Kentucky, where he also worked in the finance and administration division for five years. Richard obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky.
THERESA BACKUS DUNN

Theresa Backus Dunn joined AmCham Qatar as Executive Director in 2012. In this role Theresa manages the Chamber's member services, events, finances, website and administration. Prior to the AmCham position, Theresa was the Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager for DHL Express Qatar for three years. In this role she was responsible for identifying new opportunities and developing new business with American Companies and the US Military. She was awarded Sales Person of the Year in 2011. Prior to relocating to Doha, Theresa spent ten years in the UAE with shopping center development and marketing, where she worked for prestigious developers such as Majid Al Futtaim, Al Futtaim and Tameer. Her 20+ years in shopping center development and marketing have had her handling properties in over eighteen states and three countries around the world. Her first position after graduating from University was with the Department of State as a Foreign Service Communications Officer where she was stationed in Athens, Greece for three years. Theresa has a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Telecommunications from Ohio University and a Master of Arts in International Business/Marketing from George Mason University.
